Many tons of food have reached the poorest in the world’s poorest country. But there is a desperate need for more help. Both spiritually and materially, Muslims in East Niger are crying out for help. Nomadic tribes are facing a desperately difficult dry season after the failure of their crops this year.

A few months ago there was a mission conference in TACF in Toronto. John and Carol Arnott and the church in Toronto are known for their generosity. On one of the days they collected about 400 000 NOK for mission.

We regularly hear news about the appalling conditions in Afghanistan or Somalia. At times there has been focus on Eritrea, Sierra Leone, Mozambique and more recently Yemen, when these countries have been hit by war, flood, drought and other problems.

This woman was healed on her deathbed
A woman had been discharged from the hospital in Goure because there was nothing the doctors could do for her; she was dying. She was carried to a meeting in Zinder. Ardo Baranguwa – a Muslim chief brought her to us. He knew this was her only chance of survival.

We thank the Lord that there is not only growth when someone comes to visit. God’s kingdom doesn’t primarily grow through spiritual “big guys”, but when all the believers are serving. We constantly hear reports from our various groups about what is happening in towns, villages and nomadic camps in Niger and other countries where we are involved. Believers see the Kingdom of God in everyday life. Here are some brief examples:

Our heavenly Father wants to restore the whole person. His plan for you is healing in all areas of your life. Salvation means healing for the whole person. The Greek word for salvation – Sozo – means salvation not just for the soul, but salvation for the spirit, soul and body, both here on earth and for all eternity.

At the meetings in Tønsberg, we have experienced a growing anointing and increase in God’s presence. The Father loves to pour out his goodness over those who seek Him. Sometimes at meetings we end up with more people lying on the floor than standing, because the presence of God has come upon us.

Several months ago we heard about increased persecution in Mauritania. Our leader there, Ankor, asked if someone could come. We asked the Lord to show us a way of encouraging them. Kirsti Bexrud was immediately ready saying: “Our brothers and sisters in danger need me. I will go.

Our people will open doors in all the cities under my control.
Leopold, our leader in Agadez, talked to an unknown muslim man on the street one day. He told the man about Gods righteousness, given as a gift to those who believe.

If the whole world and all the people of the world need to hear the gospel, someone has to bring the Gospel to new, unreached tribes, unknown and forgotten people. Our vision is to be Gods tool in His first priority: To reach out to the entire world with the message of salvation.
